(Callista is enby, but they use both feminine and gender natural pronouns. Also, haha, a character with synesthesia like me~ Look at me go.) CALLISTA Callista was born a blind hynde, but she was always been able to see colors. The hynde who seeing too little and too much. While they will never get to see themself, or the world around them, Callista has their own world of color playing in their head. Synesthesia allows Callista to hear the colors of words, somewhat filling the void of sight for them. While this is true, Callista will never be able to comprehend beauty in its physical form. They have always been attractive. Pretty. Callista hates being this sight to behold, not only because they are hard of sight, but because hyndes only interact with her based on appearance alone. Callista only longs for some-hynde to see their inner beauty before anything else. In rejection of this behavior, Callista tore out one of their horns, though, somehow they are still attractive to those around them, the opposite of what Callista had hoped. They found their best friend and seeing eye hynde, Parvaneh, this way, seeing their inner beauty before anything else. Perhaps they are an odd duo, the pair get along just fine both understanding one another completely. PARVANEH Parvaneh may seem quiet and gentle at first, beside her scar and her red-dyed fur ends, but she's quite the opposite. Parvaneh is hardcore! She's a careless, spunky hynde with an attitude and she's here to challenge all your gender and mental illness stereotypes. Without a doubt, Parvaneh's going to flip your "perfect world" upside down! While Parvaneh might have a bad start in life with domestic violence--which earned Parvaneh her scar--she has been able to move on from her past. Today, she's showing the world that mental illness does not make you anything less, neither does being a hynde outside the typical genders. Parvaneh loves the attention, especially considering her past. She loving dying her fur and piercing herself to make herself standout psychically. But that's not all! Parvaneh's a loud, rambunctious character who honestly does not care about what you think about her, to say the least. Despite this, she is incredibly observant and emotionally adept, which is how she kindled a friendship with Callista. She is also insanely bad with her magic, commonly burning herself. This is why she bobbed her tail.
