After a good amount of debate, we (the mods) have come to the conclusion that we don't really currently possess the time, nor the framework, nor the resources, nor a few other things we'd need to make a new Civ run smoothly. So what does this mean? For now, ScratchCiv has come to an end. It's sad, yes. I don't like it either, but it simply isn't within what's really possible right now to run it. I apologize. Please bear in mind that this isn't because I'm just lazy, it's because a good replacement for the old civ simply cannot be run at this point in time. Thank you all for the ride.
I know so many players, including myself, enjoyed hundreds of hours of fun on ScratchCiv last year. It was a learning experience, and a great server.. Thank you for joining us for the time we had. If you would like to band together and form your own civilized minecraft server, that's awesome, you are free to do so. Who knows, maybe sometime in the distant future I'll do a full reboot, not even relating to old civ. I don't know. But for now, no can do. Don't get your hopes up, right now we are just enjoying the summer. It's kinda funny how this was @ArcanisHD 's brainchild at first, but it pretty much became mine. Before you send some hateful comment, please remember the fun we had for months. This was an amazing server, provided for free. Please remember that instead of sending hate. It's been great.
