This project is designed to show students in 5th-8th grade what a mathematical "expression" is. More specifically, it is designed to give a concrete APPLICATION to WHY we use expressions in the real world. Answering the age-old questions, "Why do we have to learn this?" and "When am I ever going to use this!?"
