Recently, I've been finding a lot more projects where people have been breaking Scratch Guidelines, and I really thought that I should raise awareness on the subject since it's been becoming a bigger and bigger problem every single day. So, I made this project to share some advice on what you do if you encounter a project that is breaking Scratch guidelines, specifically these certain ones: ➣Recolors ➣Copycats ➣Credit Claimers ➣Art Stealers The others follow along with these ones, but those four specifically are the ones I see the most of when I find a project that is against Scratch Guidelines, and I really think it should stop. So I think raising awareness, tips, advice on how to avoid some of these, was the best idea. NOTE: I am not trying to be mean, rude, or hateful. In any shape, form, or size, I'm just trying to spread awareness about the people who do these on purpose or on accident, and how big of a problem it's becoming. I'm not trying to show any hate, as when I first started out on Scratch, I recoloured a lot, but now I have my own style and so on I don't do that anymore. But, I really am not meaning to be mean in any way, and If it comes out that way I'm sorry, I'm just trying to help Scratch be a better place by spreading awareness of these kinds of projects. So if you are offended, I am sorry, but I did hope this was helpful either way. Also, this is just my opinion on how to deal with projects that break Scratch Guidelines, and it's my opinion on them, you don't have to have the same opinion as me, but I would appreciate it if you at least followed some of these tips and ideas I have, cause they may be very helpful. ====. * ・ 。゚☆ [Credits] ☆。゚・* .==== ➣Coding: @ImShadowTheUmbreon ➣Background Art: Found On Google ➣Screenshots: Found On Scratch ➣Song: Pepper Steak Meme Song ====. * ・ 。゚☆ [Extra Stuff] ☆。゚・* .==== ➣If you have any extra questions, leave them in the comments! :) ➣Let me know if any of this advice was helpful to you in the comments! ➣If you have any mini-stories you'd like to tell me about your experience with Scratch Guidelines breakers, you can tell me in the comments ====.*・。゚☆[Studio For Guideline Breakers]☆。゚・*.==== ➣In this studio, I've added all the projects I've found that have broken Scratch Guidelines in some way or form. That way, people can notice these and help scratch be a better place by asking them to stop what there doing: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/28948198/comments/ ====. * ・ 。゚☆ [My Story] ☆。゚・* .==== I was actually a victim of getting my art stolen, by somebody, who at the time, had copied quite a few VERY popular projects on Scratch. What the person did, was remix my I've Been To Sea Meme, and just removed any credits that said that I had made it, and even worse, they even claimed my alt accounts as there's, since I had had a part in the descriptions that had the names of my alt accounts in it. And, when I asked them to stop... They did call me Dumbreon, which really really hurt, and I even considered taking my project down, but, luckily, the person stopped, and deleted ALL their projects that broke Scratch Guidelines. Now there just a normal Scratcher. ====. * ・ 。゚☆ [Thanks!] ☆。゚・* .==== I would like to say- THANKS FOR HELPING ME REACH 80+ FOLLOWERS!!! AH!!! I can't believe I actually got this far, and it was actually only about two weeks ago when I hit 70+ so- THAT WAS QUICK- XD But srs, thanks to everybody who shows me love and support on my projects! It really means a lot to me, and I'm so glad you guys enjoy my projects so much! My main goal with my projects is to be kind, helpful, supportive, and most importantly...Make people smile! If I can make just one person smile with my work, that will make my day, and I hope my projects will make your day too. ====. * ・ 。゚☆ [No More, BYE!] ☆。゚・* .====
