Rowan blinked a few times as Starmarche came into view. The large stained one-way glass compound was made up of five triangular wings arranged to look like a star, centered around a leapmaster 5000. She raced into her wing and changed out of her Exillium uniform. She’d had enough of that thing. She shoved it under her bed and hoped she’d never see it again. She heard the door open and decided to stay where she was. If it was her father? Well there was something between them now. Something she didn't quite like. As she grew more agitated the feeling came back, twisting around inside of her. it turned out to be her siblings. They were obviously surprised to see her. "Uh, Rowan, hi?" Allie said. "You were supposed to be gone for another week! Why are you back so early?" "Why are you two in my room.? You know you aren't supposed to be in here. especially when I'm not home. Now get out before I melt your faces off!" She yelled at them and lit her hands with the golden blaze. They screamed and ran out, likely to go get their parents. The fire went out, Rowan sighed. I need to get out of here. She thought. She grabbed a bag from out from under her bed and started stuffing things in. Extra clothes, snacks, a handful of leaping crystals, and her box of prattles pins. She shut the door behind her a she walked out. Her family was gathered outside, around the leapmaster. "Get out of my way." She snarled. "No." Her father said. "This isn't you." "You're one to talk. 'Blizzard'." She spat out the last word, like it tasted bad or something. "Blizzard? Jay? What is she talking about?" Her mom asked, confused. "I'm sorry it had to come to this." He said, as he whipped out a crystal and light-leaped away. "Goodbye mother." Rowan said coldly as she yanked a crystal out of the leapmaster and left. She came out of the beam at the entrance to Atlantis. The feeling flew away as she crumbled down to her knees. "What have I done." She sobbed. She got back to her feet. "This is all his fault!" She screamed. Her hands blazed again. "I'm going to hunt him down and lock him in Exile myself!" She let out a roar as the Flareadon feeling stirred in her again. She shoved the feeling down and stayed in control of herself, mostly. "I'll hunt. him. down." She grabbed her home crystal and went home. She arrived to find her home in pieces. The five wings were blown apart, on fire and items were strewn about everywhere. "NO. NO! NONONONONO!" She fell to her knees again. "Noooooo!" A scrap of paper fluttered her and she grabbed it. The note on it was simple and to the point. <><><><><> " you want your family back? join us. or face the consequences." -The Neverseen. on the back of the note was the familiar eye symbol. "They're taking hostages now. Great" Suddenly Rowan wished she hadn't crushed the crystal Rexlyn had given her. She groaned. A figure in a black cloak walked through the smoke. "See you've come back." The voice said. Fintan. The Flareadon feeling was the strongest she'd ever felt it. "FINTAN! YOU'RE BEHIND THIS! YOU WILL PAY!" Two rods of fire that seemed nearly solid appeared in her hands. She charged Fintan. Fire sabers raised. "YOU WILL PAY!!" To be continued...
This story has been discontinued due to my not liking where Rowan is going. Rage monster, sobbing mess, sad rage monster, seriously. It's not good
