If you want to place random dots anywhere on the stage, just use the Motion block go to (random position) . To place the dots randomly but only on the cross point of the grid requires some precision. Click 'See inside' and look at the code. The sprite can be hidden yet you can use its pen. PEN DOWN / PEN UP creates the dot the sprite's shape has nothing to do with the dots.
