This is a project i'm working on that will come very soon! This is only one frame of the animation, which is almost done! Most of my projects from now on will be a mix of 2D and 3D so I can push myself to my limits. It may look like I just got my sprites and pasted them onto an image, but if you look closely, you can see the characters have shadows on the floor. I made the world in blender, and then put the sprites on flat planes. (Press the space bar for proof.)
