How much do you agree with this phrase? Leave your thoughts down in the comments.
Creator- @Legendaro Why I'm asking this is because I saw an pharmaceutical ad on Youtube by RenewLife that has a lady saying this, and I wanted to see what you guys think of this. My Thoughts: I strongly disagree with this phrase. Just because you're very confident about a goal, doesn't mean you will do great at it. Don't get me wrong. Dedication is one of the main key factors in succeeding, as you can't be lazy about it. But, you should always focus on the results and improve upon them. If you don't measure by the outcomes, how will you know if your becoming better at something? Let's relate this to making projects. You decide to make a platformer game, and have lots of courage and pride to do it. However, you start blindly playing the unimproved game without checking for bugs and adding cool updates to make it better. When you share it, there is a lot of criticism in the comments saying things like, "I found a glitch where you float to the ceiling! This happens all the time on level 5!" or "Why is there no character select screen?" What you should've done was measure the outcomes and fixing it to be actually playable and fun. Then, there won't be as much criticism (besides that young kid who doesn't understand anything! XD). I think the message of ad was more supposed to be like, "I can't dwell on my symptoms too much (and be sad about it). If I push harder to get to my goal, then I will succeed." But besides that, what do you guys think? :)
