[PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BELOW FOR AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY I BROUGHT THE SHOW BACK] So, when I cancelled Insanity Isle (and Mini), I mentioned a couple reasons why. Demotivation, drama, hating how the series was going as a whole, you guys know the drill. Looking back at the episodes a couple of days ago, I realized that my reasons for cancellation didn't really warrant cancellation, only change. The drama really only had to do with two people who had characters in the show (one of those characters being Slushie, which is why he's getting replaced - more on that later; also, please don't ask about the drama with either character, I don't want to take it any farther than it's already gone), the demotivation came from me needing a little break from the series and school being stressful, and me hating the series came from my dislike of Episode 4's execution, as well as me taking some negative comments about Episode 4 too literally. I also thought InIs Mini added quite a bit of stress to the show, so I do feel like that contributed a bit to the show's cancellation. I wanted to bring back Insanity Isle as it will probably be my last high quality object show on Scratch, and I want to look back on Scratch and have something that I'm actually kind of proud of making. In order for the series to continue and for me to enjoy making it, some changes will need to be made - as mentioned, Slushie and the other character plagued by drama will respectfully be written off the show in InIs 5, InIs Mini is cancelled permanently, and someone FROM InIs Mini will join the game in Slushie's place as compensation. I'd also like to resolve some... less than stellar plots (such as the Hot Chocolate having a crush on Slushie thing), and take the show in a more universally character-based direction than having the same focus characters each episode like the past episodes, Episodes 3 and 4 in particular, seemed to have. It's fine if you've lost your faith in me after the quick cancellation and comeback of the show, but I hope you guys are along for the ride as Insanity Isle continues in the right direction! Since I will still prioritize YouTube and my mental health above Scratch, expect episodes to come out every few months on average, especially once school starts for me again in early August.
