Instructions

Press to scroll in The HMHS (His Majesty Hospital Ship) Britannic originally called the RMS Gigantic; was a sister ship of the RMS (Royal Mail Ship) Titanic and the Olympic. It was then "Drafted" into WWI and renamed 'Britannic' and was planned to be returned to the White Star Line after the war. It sunk in the Aegean sea due to a Turkish mine; even though many people claim it was a German submarine. It really wasn't clarified that a Turkish mine sunk it until about 30 years ago. Order of the Ships: RMS Gigantic (Aka HMHS Britannic) (Youngest of the three ships) Sank in 1916 to a Turkish mine. It took 55 minutes for it to sink. RMS Titanic ('Middle Child' of the Three Ships) sank into an Iceberg in 1912. It took about 2 hours and 40 minutes for it to sink RMS Olympic (The oldest of the three ships) Is sold for scrap in 1935 The story behind these three sister ships never failed to interest me.
