So, I can't believe this, but I hit 300 followers!!! Thank you all so much for your support, and I've improved so much during my time on Scratch. Moving on to the topic of this project, I have recently been developing a semi-open species called: Emotilings! ༺❀༻ ----------------------༺❀༻------------------------ ༺❀༻ Before you begin looking through the rarity charts and stuff, here's a bit about the species. Emotilings are similar to humans in the structure of their bodies, but are VERY different if you look closer at the species. Emotilings have tails from varying animals, and even some mythical or made-up creatures. Their body is made up of ink, and this can be several different colors. The most common is black ink, though gray and white are also possible colors. Emotilings speak in a distorted, backwards version of the English language. This means that it is nearly impossible to learn their language. Because they need to communicate, Emotilings have speech bubbles in at least one place on their person. If an Emotiling is feeling an emotion that they cannot communicate due to the face shown on their screen, said Emotiling will most likely become very irritable and quite impatient. An Emotiling's screen will display an emoticon, and this could mean one that is made of just two lines and a W, or one as complex as this: (✿◕‿◕) An Emotiling's emoticon will be based on their personality, and never changes. If your Emotiling is often angry, perhaps you would use an angry face on their screen. The only type of emoticon that has a rarity (legendary) is a symbol or border such as this: ༺❀༻ ༺❀༻ ----------------------༺❀༻------------------------ ༺❀༻ To spare you from my awful handwriting, I'll just write a bit about each slide below: 1: Just the thumbnail :) 2: The species mascot, Elenore (Based off my favorite border: ༺❀༻) 3: An ear rarity chart. I didn't include this, but if you add horns, they are uncommon. 4: A tail rarity chart! Everything you need to know about this is written on the slide :) 5: An ink rarity chart! Note that you can tint ink to any color, but this does not increase the rarity. 6: An example Emotiling! This was originally going to be the mascot, but I decided to change it. Feel free to take inspiration from the design and to use the emoticon I used ( :] ). That's it!
