When applying the whirl effect, the outer rim is static. But in my "inverted" version, the center is static instead. This is accomplished by rotating the sprite by the same amount as the whirl effect, but in the opposite direction. Look inside to see the actual code, which is super simple :) Costumes 5-8 have transparent circles added to achieve the desired result. Look inside the costumes to see them.
