Instructions

Use the fan to blow your balloon around and dodge the hazards in each level. Everything can pop your balloon so be wary and rest on the colored pads when you have the chance. Try to collect all the stars and shoot for the quickest time. Green Pad is the starting point Red Pad is your goal point Orange Pads unlock a locked gate Blue Pads can be used as a resting place Can you unlock all 26 balloons? Extended Update Log: ========Alpha======== Aug 16/17th - implemented a proper balloon select and the ability to return to the title screen; code system is still in place to access custom balloon styles Aug 9/10th - started work on level 11, detailed boss level a tad, and enabled balloon styles via input codes Jul 31st / Aug 1st - added the first boss, the Octoboss (it's still in the works however so expect added detail to the fight); also fixed a couple issues with backing out of a level Jul 26/27th - redesigned the buttons for levels 1-5, fixed the option buttons not turning changing color when clicked, gave the axe a more natural swing in level 3, made it to where you will pop and be sent back to the level select upon running out of time, and animated the boss (so basically a lot of smaller quality of life improvements and fixes) Jul 23/24th - a couple issues resolved, some slight level select redesign, and a few preparations for what's coming soon Jul 19/20th - added the 9th level "Buggin' Out" and the 10th level "Toothache" (back to back in the same night) Jul 18/19th - you can now back out of a level if it's too difficult by holding down the red back arrow (also fixed another balloon glitch) Jul 17/18th - added the 8th level "Trapped" and a surprise if game's beaten to 100% completion Jul 15/16th - fixed small issue with options and balloon Jul 14/15th - added the 7th level "Blown Away" and toggleable music, SFX, and animation (to potentially reduce lag on mobile) Jul 12/13th - added the 6th level "Closing In" and fixed a couple bugs ========Pre-Alpha======== Jul 8th - added the 5th level "Ball & Chains" Jul 7th - completed score keeping system, implemented gold level feature, and did a bit of bug fixing / tuning up; out of testing phase Jul 2 - added timer, started to work on score keeping system Jul 1 - completed transitions between levels, level select and menu *Some updates happened between these dates and I can not remember when but I added stars, the fourth level, the title screen, and fixed bugs, most notably the "Draggable Basket Glitch"... Update Log: ========V1.1======== Feb 1st - updated Birthday achievement screen to show the proper years (will keep updated), fixed a scaling issue with gates that's existed for idk how long, and buffed Baron von Blimp's health from 3 hits to 5 Aug 25th - fixed small oversight where Skelly balloon wasn't awarded Aug 21st - changed the Ouch balloon from 25 deaths to 15, added the Skelly balloon for hitting 30 deaths, and made a couple minor graphic fixes Jun 23rd - fixed bugs with the Elderly balloon and Gloops Jun 17th - enabled the Birthday balloon to celebrate one year of work (unlockable via terminal) Jun 8 - added placeholder / error model for balloon May 29th - fixed balloon select and an achievement notification bug May 25th - made gloop effect function properly when touching the fan while spinning and decreased wait when clicking to exit a level by half May 24th - changed the speed achievement from 7 to 8 seconds, slightly increased the balloon speed, and added a way to view individual level scores through the terminal May 23rd - added a sound effect for achievements, changed the elder balloon achievement to be less annoying, and fixed a few bugs May 17/18th - all 24 balloons (including starting 8) are now implemented, credits button and panel was added, few bugs were fixed, and a couple minor details added ========V1.0======== May 16th - most achievements are implemented May 11th - added more balloons and most currently planned achievements, which will display in the corner upon getting them May 8/9th - enabled Evil, Clown, and Ouch balloons, along with started implementing achievement notices ========Beta======== Apr 29th - added final 17th level "Baron Von Blimp", which can be unlocked after completing 12 levels (still undergoing testing which is why username's detected); fixed a couple bugs Apr 25th - fixed engine balloon style's basket, 100% balloon not showing, and updated the fan's design Mar 16th - swapped the zero balloon with the classic balloon used in the base engine made by @Impossible666, tinkered with the upcoming boss, and began work with the credits button Mar 5th - completed base bossfight gameplay and began work on post fight features Mar 4th - designed and finished boss design and its phases, level tumbnails, and some bossfight mechanics (game will say it may detect usernames; I have it set up so only I can access boss level to test) Mar 3rd - added last of total unlockable balloons so far, totaling at twenty (the one's that aren't available currently will be later, I still need to set up the parameters for them to unlock) Mar 2nd - implemented first few achievements, added a bunch of balloons soon to be unlockable, and made it to where Octoboss can only be unlocked after completing six prior levels (to promote progression in gameplay) Mar 1st - reworked balloon select code and started adding achievement and more secret balloons Feb 28th - started work on the final level, future balloons, and the soon to be implemented unlockable boss feature Feb 27th - added the 14th level "Watch for Falling Rocks" and the final 15th level "Fly Away" Feb 26th - fixed a bug where the dragons' spawns weren't working properly, causing the spawn location of other enemies (dragons included upon re-entering the level) to break Feb 24/25th - added the 13th level "Goop'd" (the raining Goop won't pop your balloon, but if it hits your fan you'll have to shake it while your mouse is down to unstick it) and made slight design adjustments to all other levels, adding spikes in the corners instead of empty crevices Feb 23/24th - added the 12th level "Let There Be Dragons..." (quite possibly one of the most unique/intricately made levels to date), made slight texture fixes to a couple level select icons (namely the gold versions), fixed the issue where the platform sound wouldn't play upon landing on the end platform, and named levels 5-12 in the update log (cause why not) Jan 20th - added level select frames for levels 12-15 and boss #2 Jan 19th - slight boss change, adding an angry (red) effect every time you land on the orange platforms; added the Octoboss balloon, which becomes available upon beating Octoboss for the first time Nov 4th - added the 11th level "Kick Up the Heat" Oct 28th - worked on level 11 Aug 18/19th - added the last of the standard selection of balloons and added a boom sound effect for level 10 Aug 17/18th - updated balloon select (now it bobs up and down), functions better when using bonus balloon codes, and added a bunch of new balloons; removed Octoboss "final ability" since it kicked in early when you have a low FPS ***Pre-alpha and alpha devlog is now in Instructions due to character limit constraint
