Instructions

uhh so this is the first time i've done something like this, so it's probably not very good- I'm also not great at scenery but here's what I noticed: in the original version, it seems a little bit too saturated and bright, and i totally respect your color choice if it was intentional, but I thought that sticking with greener hues and lowering the saturation would help a lot with making it look more natural, but dont copy my saturation, because i think i lowered the saturation a little too much lol. Another problem i noticed was that your scene lacked perspective. I'm not saying the one i did had a whole lot of perspective, but one way to fix this problem is to make a darker foreground and a lighted background (or vise versa, depends on where your light source is). I also added ripples in the water that added a little bit more perspective because the flattened out when they got further away, also make the objects closer larger than the ones further away. Also, the Mushrooms could have had a little bit more depth or dimension so it doesn't look 2d, unless that was what you were going for. I also changed the bush to look a little bit more natural, although I'm not amazing at that. If i were to redraw the scene, I would recommend a different perspective that might make a little bit more sense. Also for the lights, I wasn't too sure what they were so I kind of made them bright balloons-make sure not to use white unless it's the sun or something of that sort. These are just some suggestions, but I think your art is very cute and unique!
