*WARNING* **Amphibia spoilers, stabby swords (no gore), overall depressing final scene from True Colors** flag 2x well I really like this animation **ANYTHING BEYOND HERE IS AMPHIBIA SPOILERS** excuse me sir I will never be emotionally stable again homicidal papa smurf stabbed marcy and I'm sobbing. Seriously, that was an emotional rollercoaster of an episode. I still love Marcy though?? She made a really horrible, selfish mistake, sure, but she's still human (and only 13) she's not evil, she just made a series of poor decisions. Her actions aren't defendable, but like Sasha, she deserves a shot at redemption and will probably grow as a person, considering she almost d i e d, and that's not something I think she'd be able to forget. Also, as one of the crew members noted, Marcy is amoral and doesn't easily discern right from wrong. Most of her actions are guided by what she perceives to be the most logical path, which has actually been shown in other episodes. For example, Marcy treating people like a puzzle to be solved is morally wrong (Anne even told her that), but it made the most sense to her, and she didn't see the poor consequences of her actions until afTeR everyone was mad at her. The writers did an excellent job setting up that aspect of her character before TC. The show is great when it comes to character consistency and foreshadowing Also, now Marcy is a wAY more complicated character than before,, and I love watching those types of characters qwq So in conclusion, Marcy died but not really, I still love her, she'll probably get a road to redemption, and the only character in this show that I don't like is Andri- I refuse to say his name.
