Here's Shrub OS 4, the next generation. Meet Rose, the Assistant to do and help you around. She now is more advanced, especially with the UI. There is so much here to unpack. This is a revolutionary update to the older made Shrub OS 3 along with their previous betas and versions. So here is everything new and all. Just by a glance you can see all of the redesign. All of the gentle curves, simple white color of the basic UI, slight transparency to everything for a touch, and an animation redesign that takes every transition a seamless swipe, blur, or fade into or out of. Also, all of the icons have been redesigned too. When clicking the flag, you are instantly greeted to a Lockscreen to simply keep you safe. You can get back to this by clicking the Account Icon in the App Tray. Also, when being greeted like so, you will automatically be given a startup notification telling you how they work. Notifications are so useful for many things such as an update in a status, an alert, a bug notification. Right from the Desktop, the Taskbar is one thing to change. The Taskbar now has the most useful apps right there along with a to be Control Panel, the soon to be a Universal Search, and the Rose Icon in all of its glory. But just clicking the App Tray Icon, you get to this try where you have several Icons and a Widget. Widgets are useful because you can get an easy glance at something like the Music in this instance. You can Play, Pause, and Skip. The app icons are simple and really tell what they are from a glance at the image and not a title. Best of all, it has been built to work with infinite pages. The Control Panel is another thing here giving you a way to control things later on. For now, it's just for looks. Once you get into an app like Music Player, you will quickly see a UI and Navigational difference. There are tabs now that are on the side for taking advantage of the larger display. Anyway, the Music Player is totally redesigned and has more music. The UI is very simple and is more feature filled with the new redesign with new icons, and the inclusion of tabs. Browser, this app is very useful for finding intel, memez, etc. from 3rd party sources as well as another source of navigation. It has been updated with a better UI with more functionality. Settings - Totally redesigned from the ground up to have cool animating switched along with many settings such as managing Notifications, Sounds, Privacy, Backgrounds, and so much more. The Mail app hasn't had much attention yet but is eventually destined to be an online Mail (Messaging) System between devices running this version of this OS. The Calculator has a minor redesign with it looking more modern and becoming and independent app between the main apps and the Calculator itself. It is also now draggable around the screen. The Game Arcade does not actually have any real games yet but shows a demonstration of what it may be later. Thank you for checking out Shrub OS 4 Developer Beta 1.
