I've seen many people blame the ST with problems in scratch too much. I'm going to try to address these claims one by one. Claims: 1. The ST is being toxic 2. The ST doesn't care about the community 3. The ST is destroying communities with the reply limit 4. The ST is encouraging copyright infringement 5. The ST is removing any ways to make extensions Answers: 1. The ST replies to all comments with respect, and false muting is their algorithm's fault, not theirs. (Though they could fix it. Stop false muting!) 2. If the ST didn't care about the community, they wouldn't have made the site at all. 3. The communities mentioned; RP and SWC, are inconvenieced, not destroyed. Starting a new thread is fine. 4. They said to give credit, and it's legally licensed here: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ 5. ScratchX is cancelled, however, a new program is in development, this is only temporary. I'm tired of people blaming the Scratch Team for everything wrong with scratch. You can't expect them to succesfully micromanage more than 43 million users.
