At about 11:00pm, the kids stopped coming. Brazen and Harlow made their way over to us, laden with two overflowing bags of candy. “How the heck did you get all that candy?” Naomi marveled as we went inside the twin’s dorm. “A lot of kids were giving out candy, and they had a lot,” Harlow informed us. Brazen slumped into the desk chair, tired and worn out from dragging that bag of candy and staying up this late. Harlow threw herself onto her bed, Naomi sat on Brazen’s bed, and I sat on the floor, sifting through the candy to see what the twins got. After half an hour or so, we had eaten only an eighth of Brazen’s candy. That’s how much there was. “This’ll last us a while,” I noted, swallowing a piece of chocolate that would probably be my last piece for the day. Maybe the week. “Well, duh,” Brazen replied. We ate a few more pieces, somehow, and then we went our separate ways to our dorms. “Night,” Harlow called as Naomi and I left. We stopped outside our dorms. “Happy birthday, Wolf,” Naomi said softly, and I turned to go to my dorm. Before I could though, Naomi kissed me. How often does a werewolf get kissed by the prettiest girl in his year? She smiled, then went inside and closed the door to her dorm. I stood there a couple seconds, then grinned and walked inside my dorm. I remembered the potion, and unstoppered the top. I drank it in one sip, and climbed into bed. My clock read 12:00. Midnight. Normally, I wouldn’t feel so elated. Heck, I wouldn’t even be human. But tonight, thanks to Mom, I was.
So, I am writing a story. It's called the Wolf Boy, and it's about a werewolf. This is Chapter 6.
