I kinda imagined her to be an experiment, based on the info I got, so It's like they use the mask to hide whatever happened during said experiment. (The bunny ears were also a result of the experiment) I had them put a couple of stickers and a bandaid on the mask, and the heart thing I just thought was cool. :) You can make up what you want with it.
