Featured June 1st Became my most viewed project June 2nd ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Despite this project being something that may be considered masculine (or according to this one person, because of my profile picture being that of a male character), I AM A GIRL So stop assuming that I'm a boy- I am a girl, so I use she/her pronouns (if you'd prefer, call me they/them I don't really mind that much) Feel free to report anyone who is refusing to use she/her or they/them pronouns when referring to me. If it was just a mistake, then that's fine, but if they still refuse to call me by she/her or they/them, then please report them. If they refuse to call me by my pronouns, then they are just being homophobic, and I would not like homophobes on my projects, especially during pride month. And for proof that mis-gendering me could be considered homophobic, here is the definition of homophobia: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/539289077/ Edit: Calling me dude, bro, or man is ok. I just don't want to be referred to by the he/him pronouns ------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the Scratch Week theme 1, I decided to make a simple Rube Goldberg Machine. The reason this fits the theme is simply because Rube Goldberg machines are machines that are overcomplicated, but are designed to perform a simple task. That one sentence can also sum up half of the codes I make on Scratch. This simple Rube Goldberg Machine was designed to turn on a lamp. It was inspired by the diagram in the wikihow for how to make a Rube Goldberg Machine. The steps are as follows: A pendulum swings, hitting a ball. The ball rolls down a ramp, where it falls into a bucket. The bucket then falls down, due to the weight being heavier. This results in a domino being knocked over. The domino then knocks over another domino, which then knocks over another. This third domino pushes a button. The button being pushed results in the lightbulb being turned on. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unrelated but check out my brother's account. He's much better at coding than I am: @PlasmaScope
