For a later version, see https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/534396001/ . Windows 94.1 is a never-to-be released sequel to my Windows 94 project. The only prototype is here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/537976169/ . Other experiments with Windows 94.1 can be found in the Windows 94 archive, along with the original Windows 94. This code was reused in my Windows 11 simulator ( https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/544851591/ ) Simply click on the icons to test the demo. Click the create icon icon to create an icon however you want. For the costumes in the icon creation wizard, they are: 1. purple square 2. red square 3. skull icon 4. windows 95 logo 5. pencil My Windows 94 parody (without this engine) is here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/356585542/
Shared in effort to share unshared projects due to inactivity 2/12/2025. Originally made May 2021. Work in progress system for a potential revamp of Windows 94 (called Windows 94.1, with the codename Baltimore) to render desktop icons. None of the icons are sprites. They are all stamp/pen. To add icon images, you just add a costume 48 by 48 pixels max in the top left corner. Then, you can add/change icons by seeing the document in icons and adding them to iconsList. Engine can be adapted to other OSes. However, it is not in a complete state. Todo: -Try to improve the hitbox for the icons -Make a better system for message broadcasts on icons, including adding setting a message to broadcast to the icon creation wizard.
