Who's spirit Dad? Why doesn't he show up in the movie? Spirit did have a dad his name was strider a website that will put the link at the end said Strider was a pure black mustang. He was Esperanza's mate and Spirit's father. After Spirit succeeded him, he was captured and later died due to not being used to captivity. Not much else is known about him. I think the most logical reason that was he died before spirit was born the movie would have been that good if they did include his dad but I think it cool to know about his dad stay tune for the next of spirit series
