This unit is made specifically for emergencies like natural disasters in populated areas. It is only armed with a pistol because it is not meant to be in combat, only to help with evacuations and such. The pistol's main use it for self-defense/intimidation to get people to listen. It also coordinates with the emergency unit. It's main weapon is the (still looking for one) pistol, and also carries a nightstick. In the case of riot control it sometimes will use light armor and a taser + riot shield. Helmets only used in extreme riot cases. Has a built-in gas mask in case of tear gas. This unit is used more for emergencies like a natural disaster more than the emergency unit because it requires less money and manpower to maintain because the uniform is much like civilian clothing.
