Since Today is Vesak I decided to make a create your own Vesak lantern project! I need to update this soon! This not that advanced as my other ones. Checkout here if you wanna know what Vesak is! Make sure to check out part 2 where i show you what real Vesak lanterns look like! This is sort of a rough copy in a way අද වෙසක් දිනය බැවින් ඔබේම වෙසක් කූඩු ව්‍යාපෘතියක් නිර්මාණය කිරීමට මම තීරණය කළෙමි! මට මෙය ඉක්මනින් යාවත්කාලීන කිරීමට අවශ්‍යයි! මෙය මගේ අනෙක් ඒවා තරම් දියුණු නැත. ඔබට වෙසක් යනු කුමක්දැයි දැන ගැනීමට අවශ්‍ය නම් මෙතැනින් පිවිසෙන්න! නියම වෙසක් කූඩු කෙබඳු දැයි මම ඔබට පෙන්වන 2 වන කොටස පරීක්‍ෂා කිරීමට වග බලා ගන්න! මෙය එක්තරා ආකාරයකින් දළ පිටපතකි
--------------------------What is Vesak?------------------------ Vesak is a celebration known as Wesak or Buddha's day. It is celebrated by Buddhists all over the world. It is one of the most important celebrations of the Buddhist religion. People celebrate this to show respect of the birth, enlightenment, and death of the great lord Buddha. This is celebrated every full moon in May every year. We make Vesak lanterns of all kinds. One of the types of lanterns is the one featured in the project in part 2 you will; see what kinds of lanterns people make. Some people raise their Buddhists flags to show respect. People often observe sil which means they worship and pay their full attention to Buddha. Normally they would wear white and worship at a temple. But we are in a pandemic so people worship from their homes online. But since today is a week day people skipped to school to pay their full attention to the Buddha. ----------------------------- වෙසක් යනු කුමක්ද? ---------------------- ---- වෙසක් උත්සවය වෙසක් හෝ බුද්ධ දිනය ලෙස හැඳින්වේ. එය ලොව පුරා බෞද්ධයන් විසින් සමරනු ලබයි. එය බෞද්ධ ආගමේ වැදගත්ම උත්සවයකි. බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ උපත, බුද්ධත්වය සහ මරණය පිළිබඳ ගෞරවය දැක්වීම සඳහා මිනිසුන් මෙය සමරති. මෙය සෑම වසරකම මැයි මාසයේදී සෑම පුර පසළොස්වක පොහෝ දිනයකම සමරනු ලබයි. අපි වෙසක් කූඩු හැම අතින්ම හදනවා. 2 වෙනි කොටසේ ව්‍යාපෘතියේ දැක්වෙන පහන් කූඩු වර්ග වලින් එකකි; බලන්න මිනිස්සු කරන පහන් කූඩු මොන වගේද කියලා. සමහර මිනිස්සු තමන්ගේ බෞද්ධ කොඩි ඔසවා ගෞරවය පෙන්වති. මිනිසුන් බොහෝ විට සිල් සමාදන් වන අතර එයින් අදහස් කරන්නේ ඔවුන් නමස්කාර කිරීම සහ බුදුන් කෙරෙහි පූර්ණ අවධානය යොමු කිරීමයි. සාමාන්‍යයෙන් ඔවුන් සුදු ඇඳගෙන පන්සලක නමස්කාර කරති. නමුත් අපි වසංගතයක සිටින බැවින් මිනිසුන් තම නිවෙස් වල සිටම වන්දනාමාන කරති. නමුත් අද සතියේ දිනයක් බැවින් මිනිසුන් බුදුන් වහන්සේ කෙරෙහි පූර්ණ අවධානය යොමු කිරීම සඳහා පාසැල මඟ හැරියා.
