I entered an animation meme competition over two years ago, and I actually haven't seen one of these competitions since. I didn't win the one I entered, but I still absoloutly loved entering and watching everyone else's entries was so fun! So I decided I'd host one myself. The rules are pretty simple, but PLEASE read them all! They have some very important details :) ~Rules~ -you don't need to ask to enter. The due date is the 1st of July. Yeah, that's ages away, but it also gives you plenty of time to work on your entries! ^^ -Your prize for winning will be a full scene of whichever character you want. Yes, I know this is miniscule compared to the ammount of effort you will have put in. But I really am just hosting this for fun, and I already have a lot to do, so I'm sorry but that's what it'll be :) -Your meme MUST be to THIS song, or it will not be counted. I have cut the song to fit a 'meme' length so you don't have to, that is in the sounds in the backdrops, but the full song is also there in case you want to cut the song yourself :) (this is NOT mandadory- you do not lose or gain points either way) -please do NOT use this character!! Use your own OC, a fandom character, I'm not bothered, just don't use my OCs please :') - If you heavily refrance another starboy meme (like one from youtube) You MUST credit them, or you will be disqualified. You will not be disqualified, however, if you refrance another meme and clearly credit them, you will only lose points for creativity :) - Do NOT join this if it will only stress you!! Please, don't leave your unfinished meme sitting in your junk folder only to upset you when the contest closes. This is for fun!! I really don't want anyone stressing about this! -On the subject of WIPs, they will be counted! If you don't have time to finish the meme, please post the WIP! It will still be judged just like any others, and will only have a few points deducted for being a WIP (depending on how much of a WIP it is- for example, if you've done thirty seconds of the song as sketches, I'll just take a couple points, but if you've only done one sketch I'll take significantly more) -You may NOT use anybody else's code or art. this must be ALL your own (gif backgrounds/ google backgrounds are totally fine though :)) - Your meme can be edgy, sad, happy, violent- anything you like, I'm not bothered by anything. Just make sure you keep it Scratch appropriate if you do enter, don't get yourself banned and don't scarr any poor young children :')) If you do make something violent, please make sure there is a clear warning at the start for those who need it <3 -the due date will be set once I have entries, or just if it's gone on too long. there will be at least a month to finish when I set the due date, so don't worry too much about it :) Thanks for making it to the end of the rules! Now for some random stuff about the character I used! His name is Flare, he's a gift I got from @Natures_Love! He's a very happy and excitable little guy. He was pretty popular when he was little, but now kids tend to avoid him because he's just hella loud. He has absoloutly no problem with it though! He likes to tell others that his orange and red fluff is actually on fire, and sometimes he'll use his illusion power to make it look like it's actually moving. Nobody really believes it, but they don't touch him just in case.
