Nothing.... Dim lights were gaping into my eyes... But other than that... there was nothing. No memories, no feeling... and the only emotion I could feel was confusion... my shoulder was a bit sore, - but that doesn’t count. I opened my eyes- overwhelmed with fear and confusion- mixed in with a bit of hunger, too. Tight, grey walls surrounded me... almost like it was going to collapse on me... w-would it collapse on me? A somber light leaked into the tiny room through a very strange wall in front of me. It was a wall made of silver wires... a... a cage door... something about this space felt familiar... like it was the only place I had ever been... perhaps it was... perhaps I was in here so long that I went insane and forgot everything like... like a fish! Oh gosh- I really gotta get outta here! I winced in fear, pushing at the slender wires of the cage-wall. I know this sounds cowardly- but I gave up after a few seconds. I had a strange feeling that I wouldn’t be able to escape anytime soon... my thundering fear calmed down, like the aftershock of a m3d!cal need|e. I couldn’t see much past the grey wall... just... a room. The tiny room I was in was inside a bigger room... weird, right? I closed my eyes for a bit- and... I’m not sure how long. But who cares- it was long enough that the lighting had changed... not sure how it did that... but we’re moving on. I was awoken by murmurs from another room. My ears shot down- Instant fear plummeted into the pits of my stomach... Humans....
