I am really proud of this! =========================== Name: Mizuki (Meaning Beautiful Moon) Gender: Female Personality: Adventurous, curious, outspoken, childish Likes: Exploring news places, watching action movies, photographing birds, flying in the clouds Dislikes: Spiders, being underestimated, jerks Backstory: Mizuki was always a curious child, always straying from her cloud and exploring the world below. Although her parents frowned upon this, they continued to let her explore and play. But one day, Mizuki stopped. She was down on Earth, playing in a field dotted in flowers and numerous creatures. All was peachy, but then a low growl rippled through the grasses. The young angel didn’t notice and continued to play. A dark shape leaped out of the grass and pounced on the young and weak Mizuki. A coyote. She struggled to get away, but her small body was crushed by the larger predator. From above, her parents took notice. Enraged by the coyote, Mizuki’s parents darted from the clouds and started fighting the coyote. She took this as an opportunity to escape, but not before the coyote ripped off her tail. Once she was free, her parents grabbed her and flew her back up to their home. After they went back, the family went to a healer that was well known for their unique magic to replace a lost body part with another. The doctor examined where Mizuki’s tail once was, then told her to drink a mixture of some pinkish sugary liquid. Still shaken, Mizuki complied, and drank the potion. Almost instantly, she felt something growing. Turning around, the your kit spotted a new tail growing, made out of the same liquid as the bottle she just drank. It had worked! But it had done nothing to relive Mizuki of her memories of what had happened. Now she stayed up in the clouds, not even daring to look down at Earth. Her parents were getting worried about her change in behavior, and came up with a way to change it. “Where are you taking me?” Mizuki asked as she and her parents soared above the clouds. “Look down,” her mother said. And Mizuki did. Beneath her was an ocean with turquoise waters and a sandy beach not too far away. A sea turtle swam swiftly across the waves, little fish darting around. Mizuki giggled, and forgot her fear. Her parent’s plan was working. “Why don’t you play in the sand?” Her mother suggested. “But.. coyotes..” The kit murmured, and her father laughed. “Don’t worry, we can protect you,” he reassured her. She looked sheepishly at the beach, and flew down to it, instantly feeling at home. Her fear was gone for good. And so was her worries. Mizuki lived out the rest of her life in happiness, and although she never mated, she had a long and fulfilling life, journeying further than an angel had ever gone before.
