1836-1936. 100 Years of Glory. Pax Victoria II or Pax Victoria 2 is a game set in the Victorian era in which you manage your industry, economy, military, and population to guide your nation to dominance. 1 to see infrastructure 2 to see resources 3 to close m to mute/unmute -----Population----- High taxes may kill your pops so try not to keep them too high. You make money from taxes, the more people that are in your country, the more money you make. -----Military---- There are 4 types of troops +Cavalry: weak in regular combat, but can be used in charges to do high damage. +Infantry: this unit is the building block for an army, most of your army should consist of Infantry +Artillery: this unit does damage in the shock phase, it's good for softening up the enemy before the infantry is sent in. +Tanks: this is a late-game unit, they're expensive to make but have super high defence and very good attack. Brigades are the combined strength of your Tanks, Cavalry Infantry, and Artillery. -----Building----- +Civillian factories consume coal and steel and produce beer and machine parts +Steel factories consume iron and coal and produce steel (duh) +Railroads double the resource gain of a province +Farms consume timber and beer and produce grain -----The Economy----- Your military will take some money depending on its size. If a factory doesn't get enough resources it closes. ----Rebellions---- Rebels will rise up if your militancy is over 99, high war exhaustion, mobilization, and not having enough beer and/or grain will cause your millitantcy to rise up ----Alliances---- To get an alliance with someone you need 2 favours, to get a favour from someone you must build factories or railroads in their country. ---Pop Economics--- Sometimes Bureaucrats will try to build things like schools and ports. capitalists can invest in that thing. if the Bureaucrats don't get enough investment, they and all the investors will go bankrupt and become unemployed. The stockpile is how much resources your pops have, these resources are used for projects (building schools and ports). If you ever run out of grain or beer, your pops will start selling to you from their stockpile. ---Political Parties---- +Liberal: you get more money from taxes, Liberals are good for making fat stacks of cash +Conservative: you can mobilize more troops, Conservatism is good for map painting :) +Communist: capitalists cant invest in projects. A downside to communism is that you have to manually invest in projects since capitalists cant. You also get the 'Spread Communism' caucus beli. +Libertarian: The libertarian government type automatically invests in projects and it costs less than it would normally. To get the libertarians in power, you need the liberal and conservative votes to be equal. Libertarian is good for modernizing your nation. +Fascist: You have a shorter mobilization cool down and can mobilize more troops. A downside is that you get more infamy from declaring wars. You cant elect the fascists, only get them in power through events. Fascists also don't get elections. ----Spread the Revolution CB---- Using the 'Spread Communism' Caucus Beli will make the enemy nation communist and your ally, it also gives you war reparations. ONLY COMMUNIST NATIONS CAN USE IT (duh).
