I have finished part 1 of project database, which analyzed all storms from 2010-Present. The database contains 7 pages, containing 32,861 cells of data. There are 15 different tables for different purposes. So far, it contains 1,138 different storm entries, each with 22 different statistics that are stored. Of these, 1,048 reached tropical storm status, 534 reached hurricane-equivalent status, 296 reached major status, and 78 reached category 5 status. These storms claimed a total of 32,121 lives and caused 801.6 billion dollars in damages. These storms made a total of 906 landfalls. In addition to storm data, there are areas for graphs and summary tables, TCTR and wind-pressure calculations, and a guide for my way of measuring a storms intensity from satelite appearance, SIM295. Best track data for a few select storms are also stored in the database. Sadly, I don't have a way to share it with you. I have included some basic statistics below. However, feel free to ask me about any storms intensity and other values. Part 2 will involve analyzing the years 2000-2009. I will be giving live updates on this in the comments.
