Happy Scratch Day 2019, everyone! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scratch began development in 2003 and was released to the public in 2007. Scratch 1.0, the first version, was very similar to Scratch 1.4. At that time, only the offline editor existed; the website was a small blog where projects could be uploaded and played. As Scratch grew, the website was made larger. Scratch 1.1, Scratch 1.2, Scratch 1.3, and Scratch 1.4 were released. At this point, Scratch had millions of users and projects, and a lot of new features. Upon the release of Scratch 2.0 in 2013, the website and User Interface were changed. Scratch continued to grow, achieving 30 million users and projects. Scratch 3.0 was released in 2019 ~Scratch Wiki ------------ Thanks, everyone, for getting this project top loved and top remixed!! ------------ STANDARD CONTROLS -Use the left and right arrow keys or A and D to move. -Use the up arrow or W to jump. -Use the down arrow or S to crouch. -Avoid Glitches. -Collect coins for points. -Press the space bar to throw fireballs (once you have the power-up) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- MOBILE CONTROLS -Tap on the left of the player to move left. -Tap on the right of the player to move right. -Tap above the player to jump. -Tap below the player to crouch. -Avoid Glitches. -Collect coins for points. -Tap on Scratch-Cat to throw fireballs (once you have the power-up) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- TIPS -Jump on Glitches to destroy them. -You need to collect all of the coins in a level before advancing to the next one. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTES This game was made rather quickly, so it is not the highest quality and does not have many levels. Also, I just made a tutorial about how to reduce lag in your projects! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/314515146 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- CREDITS Thanks so much to the Scratch Team for creating Scratch and making this amazingly interesting and diverse community possible. And thanks to Nintendo's 'Super Mario' for loads of inspiration. Music from https://my-free-mp3s.com/mp3juices Which level was your favorite? Do you have any suggestions for a storyline I could add? Do you think I should add any new characters? Tell me in the comments!
