(this next part is just me rambling; feel free to skip it!) I was lost as to what to do for my application; I wanted to do a legend of zelda themed application, but I didn't have time to learn how to draw all the characters. I was going to do a wii menu themed application, but, for the same reason, I didn't. finally, about a week or so ago, I was thinking about sailing (because my life basically revolves around it, ha) and I was like,, oh,, OH,, something I'm passionate about that can be used as a theme for an swc application!! perfect! anyways, enough of my rambling -- thank you for checking out my application! »»»» instructions: !!this is not mobile friendly!! if you haven't already noticed, my application is a parallax -- when your mouse moves, the picture moves with it. move your mouse around a bit to see it! clicking on certain objects will bring you to an answer, depending on what you click. here is what object corresponds with each answer: » sailboat: about me » the first level of water: have you participated in swc before? » the second level of water: what genres are you most comfortable with writing? » the third level of water: writing excerpt » the sun (might be hard to click?): do you have any activities in july that could majorly impact your contribution to swc? » the seagulls (aka the weird black scribbles): why should we choose you to be a co/leader? » the clouds: why do you want to be a co/leader? » the fish: do you understand what is expected of a co/leader? » the jellyfish: checked boxes (the 'x's are in place of checkmarks) don't double click, and be patient when you click the objects! press space to return to the main picture once you've read the answer.
