Epithetiko Ramfos With its feathery tail and peacock like crest, the Epihetiko Ramfos is a stunning sight and is very hard to miss. However despite this, it is a carnivore that hunts in the savannas of Gomaca, being about 2 metres tall and 3 metres long. It often charges at it's prey, mostly Fidime Podia and Tailbiters and stamps on its prey like Earth's Secretary bird. Its hooked beak allows it to tear into it's prey to try and get the meat inside. Despite this fiercesome behavior, the Epithetiko is preyed upon by many predators such as the Albainsiidis and the Querest. Because of this, it has a symbiotic relationship with an even more dangerous predator: the Horridum terribilus. When a mother Horridum is out hunting, an Epithetiko takes over her job on incubating the eggs, scaring away predators. If the predator is too dangerous for it to handle, it makes a unique call called the shrilling call. This alerts the mother to come back and help her companion. When the young are older, the Epithetiko will hunt with them, even teaching them its techniques of hunting. Fidime podia Despite it's appearence, the Fidime Podia is a peaceful plant eater. An anaconda sized creature, it’s cheeks have rows of teeth packed together like batteries, almost like earth's Edmontosaurus. It uses this to grind up the plants, plucking them up with it's beak. It is also a semi-aquatic animal, sometimes heading into rivers to pluck up some seaweed. However, having 8 legs is a problem when running. This makes the Fidime podia an easy prey for Epithetiko Ramfos and other predators on land. This is why Fidime Podia mostly live at lakes or rivers, making a break away to the water when threatened. They also mostly live with herbivores, such as the gigantic Longuscollidon for protection. The Fidime podia has bad eyesight, however, it has a keen sense of smell, which helps it find predators. Karfia The Karfia is a hadrosaur like creature mostly living in the savanna of Gomaca. Being a peaceful plant eater, this rhino sized creature’s eating behavior is like that of earth's Edmontosaurus. After eating, it hold's its neck up to try and digest its food. However, the Karfia is an extremely dangerous prey. Its neck is covered with some bony studs like chainmail armor, and its skull has a bony armoured plating on its snout, while also having a thickened skull and frill. The Karfia also has a small nose horn on its nose. It often rubs it against a tree to make it sharper. This allows it to inflict terrible wounds and even paralising the predator. The Karfia is a very social creature, often living in herds of up to 50. Some even stay nearby bigger herbivores, such as Giganatotherium, for protection. It's keen eyesight allows it to see 5 kilometres away, making it a very good watch turrent. During the breeding season, males bash their heads together, but actual injuries are rare. The winning male then gets to mate, but he keeps the losing male in the herd rather than chasing him away.
