Okay, so. I have seen a recent surge of people saying they are depressed or have anxiety, 90% of which are faking it for attention. I have actual anxiety and have seen real depression, so don't even try to fake it with me. now this started to happen more on scratch when donovanni tried to do the forever sleep, and I am 99% sure that it was real. and then, people just so happened to get depressed all of the sudden. hMmM yEaH tHaTs NoT fAkE aT aLl. Donovanni was a real case of depression, and it sickens me to see people faking it for popularity. Now, lets move on to something I am an expert at: Anxiety. I take offence of people using it for attention because it makes my life worse and is not something to be taken lightly. Anxiety has effected me for my entire life, and makes me scared of nothing 75% of the time. Now, I don't have Social Anxiety. I am known as the most extroverted person in my family. I have just Anxiety. people online with social anxiety are definitely never going to tell everyone online about it. that would be a nightmare for them. Anyone with regular anxiety don't put it on their profile either, because it's not really something to be proud of. it's a problem that makes your life worse. so here's how you can spot fakers. note that you shouldn't say that they are faking it in case they are not. this is just so you don't fall for it. 1) Both: Mentions it often for no particular reason 2) Depression: Doesn't at all seem depressed (if they say it everywhere. if they don't talk about it often but they do rarely, and don't seem depressed, they could be.) 3) Both: Always makes a scene. Not much to say on this one. Thank you for reading and please, PLEASE, Do not fake depression or anxiety.
