✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* ι η ƒ σ *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ without further ado, i present *hopefully the first* fanmade, luca-inspired character creator! this <and most of the desc below> has been around for a while but i wanted to wait for release day to share this, yknow, to celebrate- and @ everyone following this account who’s got to see me ramble about luca way too much already, well. oops i’m at it again- even before the release of the full length luca trailer, i had this idea in mind and thought it'd be fun to make!! although the funky thing is that this was done wayyy in advance to be shared on the day the film released :') but anyway with that said;; all the real 'instructions' are in-game so yeah,, and they’re narrated by the underdog trio themselves which is great imo ;0 since they only appear once you can reread a slightly less fun version of the instructions here: ✧ the yellow buttons on the left change different parts of the character (fins, tails, their outfit, etc.) ✧ the sliders on the side change the colors (represented by a paintbrush) and brightness (represented by a sun) ✧ the interface is meant to be mostly intuitive so hopefully it is,, if not, here's some more specific things --> the restart arrows next to the sliders reset them back to the middle/default --> the symbols/pictures on the buttons show what everything does, so if you just click on em it'll make sense --> if you generate a savecode, paste it somewhere like a note page to hold onto --> if you paste a load code that doesn't work, it won't reset the styles [i.e. if you changed their outfit, that'll stay the same] but it will reset the color and brightness sliders [if you changed the color of the fins or scales,, it's gonna return to default], so be careful! . . . ✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* η σ т є ѕ *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ ay if you're down here,, what? how? good to see you though haha -- this is just kind of a rambling section because i'm gonna be editing this desc a lot between now and posting; dates are formatted month-day-year! 26.04.21: sooo funny story but i think i just pulled this project out of my brain in a one week span?? exCUSE?? anyway the full trailer isn't even out yet and idk what the sea monster people can look like [other than luca and alberto] which is so funky but HEY IT HAPPEN 30.04.21: FORGOT TO UPDATE THIS BUT THE TRAILER WAS SO FUN I LOVED ITT- anyway i just added seaweed garments because i forgot that would be effectively default 18.06.21: oh god i forgot about this *dances* but heyy it's release day :00 if you’re down here, hope ya have fun with this random,, thing,, i decided to make,, 20.06.21: i never showed yall my sea monsters, these are the two i made and kept :0 6.4.1.1.01.06.6.5.1.-10.-5.25.-5.60.-10.-5.20.-10. 5.1.3.2.08.15.4.1.3.-15.10.-100.-10.-100.-20.0.-85.-5. 22.06.21: fun fact i do have the codes for luca and alberto just for kicks luca -- 1.1.1.1.16.05.1.5.1.-20.-5.100.0.5.-15.0.-10.0. alberto -- 2.2.1.1.03.01.1.6.1.-10.5.-70.-5.35.-15.-10.20.0. 22.06.21: so i randomized and edited it slightly, granting me this?? i love em :0 4.1.1.1.07.04.5.9.3.0.25.-80.0.-80.-20.25.40.0. 22.06.21: i'm having too much fun 3.3.3.2.19.24.1.6.3.0.0.5.20.85.-15.15.-15.0.
✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* ¢ я є ∂ ι т ѕ *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ lotsa credit to hand out woo -- 1. well, pixar's luca of course, directed by enrico casarosa 2. putting it near the top before someone asks, the art was done in procreate, which isn't free unfortunately 3. the font for the text-based stuff is called "bradley hand" but i traced it to make it look hand written 4. prior to this, i'd never made a slider or a save/load function; here are the tutorials whose code i used and adapted when necessary: save/load: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwoBHKnE5Gw&t=431s slider: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-jUbYoofYI 5. music is a slightly trimmed/cut version of "portorosso" from the official luca soundtrack ^^
