I took the familiar Scratch library photo and added some life to it: ✦ Animated shimmer on the water ✦ Moving clouds (read more below) ✦ Atmospheric sounds The biggest challenge here was making the clouds move smoothly. Scratch cannot move sprites by less than a pixel, so very slight motion tends to look like a series of small jumps. I managed to avoid that - see inside to learn how. The method is not without its flaws, but at least it produces smooth motion :D I used Photoshop to separate the clouds from the sky.
