Now he is wandering the wilderness, traumatized by his past, lost, with nowhere to go. He finds a cat named Snowstar, who is the leader of the clan SnowClan, and she asks him to join. He agrees but then images from the past make him wonder about his new home. Snowstar leaves him to think for a bit, then Stonepaw sees that his paw is mysteriously bleeding. A cat named Rustpaw (yay!) then finds him and heals Stonepaw's paw. But a mysterious shadowy cat is watching......
