This is the elevator at the SCTC Eastside mall station. It originally had a cheap second hand motor but in 2020 due to reduced traffic the SCTC was able to have Kone come and refurbish their elevators. Kone added a fan and replaced the motor with a ecodisc motor because the previous maintainers for the elevator had not done a very good job on maintaining it. An elevator somewhere on the line was entirely replaced but that is a different elevator for a different day.
