Alright, taking a brief break from Project Pyrrhia MAPs to host this spoof MAP! Tbh it's kinda more like a spoof WoF musical in setup. It will tell the full, if fragmented, story of the Dragonets of Destiny. If you're curious how, my only advice is to read the script. Me and Wild were listening away to Weird Al Yankovic (don't ask) and then came up with a glorious idea! And you're looking at it! We decided to co-host an epic MAP! Anybody either of us invited is entitled to a part regardless of whether they use the codeword. This is scripted. Some parts are more specific than others. Please bear in mind: - We won't be too picky about who joins. - We have EVERY RIGHT to drop you if you break the rules. Do not yell or complain. If you want to keep your part, follow the rules. - Though this IS a spoof MAP, we want it to actually look good. Don't be frivolous just because you're permitted the ability to add derp faces. - Some of the refs got a bit pixelated, estimate colors where there's a lot, and pick the center color if the edges appear to be a different hue. >>>>> Rules <<<<< - You may take up to two shorter parts OR one longer one - Either @fib1123meow or @W1ld4641 can accept you. - We will be checking in on you after two weeks. One week after that, your part is due. Without exception if you miss this deadline you will be kicked, or we will assign you a collab partner :) - Collabs are allowed! You may request them but me or Wild must give you an a-okay before you actually collab. - Reservations only three days. Sorry. We want this MAP to finish in under a month. Decide if you want to commit within three days. - FOLLOW THE REFS there's one for almost every character in this. I know there's a lot. Don't complain. - That being said you may simplify designs within reason. (Keep ALL accessories) - As well as that, you may invent designs where none are present. It means the character appears only in your part. Keep it realistic, no pink icewings, green nightwings, etc - If you think we're missing a design that appears in several parts, tell us so we can add it in! - Um. The story? You don't need to have read the scene, but it would be helpful. If you haven't read it, take hints from the script about the mood of your part - We know some events are not in order. I can't stress this enough. We've been rereading the script for AGES, editing it, don't ask. We put them out of order on purpose. Follow the script. - Dude. You have no idea how many spoof MAP parts we've seen lacking backgrounds?! Add a background! A white screen does not count! - No text unless the script specifically says you can. - Lip sync is not suggested for 3.5/5 of this MAP. There's some parts where it's acceptable(cxde inside), but we're focusing on the storyline, not on singing :D - Read at least two parts before and after your part to transition nicely- Also if the part before/after you is done, feel free to transition to/from it! - DO try to make it spoofy! This is a semi-spoof MAP! No need to skimp, funny faces, silly movements, and random unrelated items welcome! - That being said, make the scene interesting and related to the WoF arc. While there can be, say, a random chicken flying in your flock of icewings, mainly focus on the icewings. - ABSOLUTELY NO STEALING ART. This includes using google images. Draw everything yourself unless you want to write an essay on copywriting to turn in on the MAP deadline. I can and will ask for it :) - Going over two sprites per part is a big nono. And backdrops are off-limits! Seriously. We will not fix it for you. It's not that hard to make a clone backdrop. (We can teach you how if you want) - And last but CERTAINLY not least! NO forever loops, message 1's(though one or two messages with a creative name may be tolerated), or stop all blocks. >>>>> TNE rules <<<<< - Use at least two of the Dragonets and the title. - Put ALL of the layers in ONE sprite OR one backdrop. - Your entry may include spoofy themes.
