Time and time again, the same story of the human coming underground, destined to save them all from their prison, just to become their executioner. Papyrus was always vaguely aware of these events but never was able to tell what they were until it was very near the end. By then it was always too late, and no matter how hard he tried things would just keep going the same way. OVER and OVER and OVER AGAIN. That was until a reset didn't successfully finish it's effort. The PLAYER was too impatient, and in their rush, Papyrus REMEMBERED. He remembered all of the slaughters, all of the failed attempts, and it broke him. He needed to end things, and he was gonna do it his way. So that's what he did, casting his morals aside, and began his very own genocide, blasting and casting the lives of hundreds of his own friends and fellow monsters, just to get the CHANCE to be on the level of the human. Even then he failed. A new loop began, the slaughterous skeleton now stuck in a state of endless insanity, committing atrocities, just to come to the same outcome, dead, and the world would just be brought back over and over again. It needed something else to happen and well... the PLAYER was more keen on not messing with resets anymore. Except there was something that wasn't expected. Sans. Sans also knew something was going on, though never to the extent Papyrus did, and he almost always was the kill that snapped Papyrus fully. Yet, something different occurred. Sans tried pleading with his brother, trying to find a way to prevent his death, and in the fear and anguish, he killed his own brother to save himself. All that EXP, and all of the awareness that came from it, broke Sans. Yet, he wasn't Papyrus. [April 17th, 2021] - Tweaked Phase 2 Sprite A Tiny Bit (And fixed up the Parry Sprite) [April 17th, 2021] - Simplified The Attacking Blocks, now allowing for Orange Attacks and Blue Attacks to hit while using fewer blocks! [April 17th, 2021] - Added a restriction to the cutscenes so that no attacks can be done to mess it up. [April 17th, 2021] - Added Blue And Orange Slashes! (Following The Color Rules) [April 18th, 2021] - Fixed A Glitch On The Act Button when you spam '9'.
