Embersnake, Eaglepaw and Wolfpaw belong to @RingingBells Sunpaw and Birdpaw belong to me. Credits to Warriors --> Story <-- Spottedleaf poked her head from her den, as a ray of sunlight touched her pelt. The long leafbare had made newleaf cold and drizzly, but now, as Greenleaf came near, she knew there would be plenty of food and warmth for her Clan. She turned around and entered her den again. Sunpaw was sitting there, lashing his tail. He was still upset about his father’s death, and Longtail’s, too. She had tried comforting him, but he snapped at her every time. Spottedleaf sighed and exited her den, and went over to the middle of camp, where she was greeted by several cats. She nodded to them as she took a swallow from the fresh-kill pile, which someone had restocked. “Spottedleaf!” Redstar bellowed, as he walked over and nudged her heartily. “What are you so happy about?” She said, as she regained her balance. “You were wrong! StarClan sent me a sign. Firetail and Ravenblink, Embersnake- they aren’t a threat anymore. And Tigerclaw can train Birdpaw again! Isn’t it great?” Spottedleaf froze. If StarClan was sending Spottedleaf dreams of terror, who was communicating with Redstar? —> part 2 <— Birdpaw looked up, flicking her ears as she sat below the Highrock. It was rather uncomfortable, as the heat throughout the day had gradually risen. But she wouldn’t let that ruin her ceremony. “You will be known as Wolfshard!” Redstar flicked his tail at the newest warrior. Birdpaw looked over at the two siblings. Eagletalon and Wolfshard always had each other’s backs. Birdpaw wished she still had Sunpaw. “Birdpaw, do you promise to uphold the Warrior code, even at the cost of your life?” “I do,” Birdpaw said, quietly. “Then from now on, you shall be known as Birdflower. We honor your patience and skill.” Birdflower dipped her head gently and went to join the other newly named cats for vigil. But a thought struck her. Would she always be loyal to ThunderClan?
