Recap: Maria and Link decided to go and find who the missing pictograph belonged to after they got the sail. Maria wanted to help Link on his quest to save his sister and forgot about the pictograph. She was able to successfully use a sword and shield. What will happen on this adventure next?
"And now~ Let's start this adventure to save your sister!" Maria said. "Alright. Let's go." said Link. They walked over to The King of Red Lions. "Link, you got the sail and made a new friend I see. You're not thinking of bringing her along are you? If you are, you must make sure she doesn't get hurt." The King of Red Lions said. "Don't worry. She has a sword and a shield. I even taught her how to use it. She'll be just fine." said Link. "Why is The King of Red Lions worried about me being hurt? We've never met before..." Maria thought as she and Link got in the boat. He hoisted the sail up on the boat and began sailing away. Maria looked back at Windfall one last time, for she knew that she won't be coming back anytime soon. "I know it may be strange to ask, but how old are you, Link?" Maria said. "I'm 12," he said, "My birthday was just yesterday...That also happened to be the day when my sister, Aryll, got taken away by a big bird." "That's sad..." replied Maria. They sat in silence, until The King of Red Lions finally said "There! On the horizon! That is our destination...Dragon Roost Island!" They got on land and he says "You must see this dragon and request from him the jewel called Din's Pearl. Ask the people of the Rito tribe how to see the dragon. Oh, I almost forgot! Wait just a moment!" The King of Red Lions gave Link the Wind Waker. He continued, "This is the Wind Waker! It is a baton of sorts that was used long ago when people played music in prayer to the gods. I don't know if it still works. Even so, it could be some use to you...Here's a simple song for you to learn. Point your Wind Waker up, left, then right." Link did just that and the wind suddenly changed direction. "It works! You just played Wind's Requiem." The King of Red Lions said. "Alright, let's go now, Link!" Maria said. Link nodded and they began climbing up the side of the volcano to what looked like a giant post office.
