it's closed lol ----- i will love and fave each entry SDC STANDS FOR STUPID DRAWING CONTEST i actually came up with it a while ago --- character refs are here, i'd prefer you draw one of the first three or emerald but you wont lose points if you draw one of the others: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/482494523/ ---- POGCHAMP I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD MAKE IT BUT I DID AND NOW HERE'S THE SDC before you spam the comments sdc stands for "Stupid Drawing Contest" and i'm actually not at my house right now so i can't make a good quality drawing or record my CRINGE voice at the moment so uh just read ----- --RULES AND OTHER NOTES-- -YOUR DRAWING SHOULD BE 100% YOURS! i always see contests with dumb things like "art must be at least 60% yours" this isn't one of those. no stealing any art. or using things like gacha or picrew or other icon makers. i can tell when people do that. also no tracing or blockshading please -You can change the character designs. as long as it stays recognizable, you can change the species, gender, hairstyle, whatever. but you'll get bonus points if you do the hairstyle accurately B) -You can use any art program. feel free to use procreate and firealpaca and all those COOL DRAWING SOFTWARES I DONT HAVE -Keep it appropriate. follow the scratch guidelines lol. blood/gore is fine just don't go overboard with it and get banned -Be nice to other entries. that includes your own. guilt tripping of any kind will get you disqualified (like saying "i tried really hard on this but i know it will never win because you're so much better of an artist than me waaaaa") also it might make other artists uncomfortable if you say things like "i will never be as good as you" so just try to keep the comments positive guys -You can enter as many times as you want. and draw as many characters as you like! keep in mind you can only win one place though -No complaining if you don't win. or guilt tripping. be mature about it. i lose plenty of contests and you don't see me whining about it. -Just follow rules you see in other DMCs/DTIYSs/PFP contests/other dumb drawing contests. i feel like i missed some rules tbh but just try your best. ---- --TIPS FOR ENTRIES-- -Be creative. i will be judging this most on creativity and effort. try to think outside the box. also you can read the character lore and i'll be super happy if the drawing has something to do with that hhhhh -Do some research on the characters. like i said above i will be really happy if you draw with something related to my character lore hehehe -Credit me and whoever made the design. this isn't a rule because nobody cares if you credit the person for the original design and contest but since i always do it it'll be like a secret bonus if you do hhhhhh -Add music. bonus points if it's tally hall, miracle musical, ajr, battleblock theater/pit people, cavetown, jack stauber, or links awakening music. also bonus points if it fits the drawing kinda -Shade. bruh shading is what makes it look epic if you don't know how don't worry about it it's just an epic thing -Do an animation meme or something. i'd prefer if you coded it yourself but just remember to credit the coder --PRIZES-- you guys have to remind me about these All honorable mentions will get a love on their featured project yay Best entry for all characters except Arlo: A fullbody vector drawing, a little bitmap icon thing, a love and favorite on three of their projects, a follow from this account, my test account, and my triangle head account. it's organized by character so if you win best shoko entry you get these, best prismane entry you get these, best opal entry you get these and so on.
