REMIX DIFFICULTY: HIGH- multiple loop animations, multiple still images, multiple complex animations C-content?? Content!! I have been working on it since June (at that point I gave it up for a while because I needed to do something for Pride Month and also there were the reference sheets and Toyhou.se profiles I needed to do :flushed:) and now it's done This was an ambitious endeavour that I'm honestly not sure if I regret or not :' D But school's out, so hopefully I'll be able to do more higher-quality animation memes like this over the summer So for people who need this explaining This is Ankh he's a mortal he lives in the desert Life's pretty good for him, he has a saber-lion (that's the best description based on words that already exist, but he isn't a feline or even Carnivoran, instead he's a Creodont, but he's got saber-teeth, and his species' society is very lion-like so let's call him a saber-lion) called Rojo (that's 'red' in Spanish, see, I'm not a one-trick pony, I DO know other languages other than English and German! /hj /lh) and he is unburdened by modern society, instead living in a period much like our Paleolithic, where his society have barely discovered the wheel. Then he meets this immortal person called Acacia, an Ancient, who he becomes friends with. They would often hang out together, and Ankh would introduce her to the nuances of mortal society. Acacia lives in this big dog made of rock. This will come in handy later. Acacia also has an Ancient 'friend' called Brittle. Brittle is also immortal, and hates mortals. He wants to wreak havoc on the desert where Ankh lives to stop mortals from ever becoming significantly advanced. Ankh says 'NO.' He tries to fight him, but Brittle is immortal. Ankh is dead now. Acacia is very sad. Acacia prays to the other immortal people, the Spirits, who live in a different dimension, to ask them to save Ankh's soul as a ghost. She knows these people personally, so the Spirits are like: 'Oh hey, look, it's Acacia. She wants this random guy's soul to be saved after death. Eh, sure. It's Acacia, after all.' So, Ankh is a ghost now. You know because he has a white outline (I forgot that in the 6th cutscene, whoops). He's wondering around, when he bumps into an extremely buff green guy with four eyes. This is Envy, and he is very confused at these circumstances. Ankh is also very confused. Is this 'God'? Nah, we answered that already. It's Envy. But Ankh doesn't know that. He assumes that if Envy's 'God', then this must be the afterlife, and if that is so, where are all the dead people? So Ankh's like, 'Hey, 'God', where are all the dead people?', and after telling Ankh he isn't 'God', Envy replies 'They're dead.' Ankh realises there isn't any afterlife, and he was just saved on a whim. If Brittle killed all his mortal friends, they wouldn't live on in the afterlife. So Ankh wants to go back down there and give Brittle a piece of his mind. Unfortunately, the only way he can do that without dying is if he becomes a Spirit, which are more powerful than Ancients. So the Spirits have a vote. Apart from Hysteria, who is probably on Hyde vibing with the 'paleolithic' phrogges, and Nix, who is...somewhere... We don't know where Nix is. So the Spirits conclude that Ankh should become a Spirit. They give him Spirit Essence to drink. He drinks it. And becomes an omnipotent purble juice being with the power to kick Brittle's butt. So he does just that. And you know that dog that Acacia lives in, from earlier? That's Dusty, he's also a Spirit. When Ankh is done with Brittle, Dusty eats him and banishes him to the s t o m a c h, where he is put into a deep sleep. Ankh decides to save all souls after death and turn the Spirit Realm into an afterlife, much to the other Spirits' dimsay. Nothing like a good old loredump OH, and this design for Ankh isn't a redesign, it's just what he looked like before he gained complete creative freedom over his appearance :) Guess this is technically a redo Oh well Team Yellow for Doodle Champion Island?
