V.3.8 of SCR. Instructions below! A small update to celebrate three years of Skyrii's Character References! This mainly features plans for the future in the Updates section. (Supported for mobile! If you can run it.) - Up/Down or Left/Right arrow keys to navigate - Space/Click View to show full artwork, or play/stop music - 1-9 to navigate in the Main Menu - Z to return to the Main Menu - X for # Select, or play/stop music - C to show/hide stats for Characters and Alt. Forms - Mouse can also be used to interact and navigate
If you want to use these characters for a cameo or fanart or whatever, you don't need permission as long as you aren't using my sprites. But please give proper credit to me! DON'T EVEN TRY TO RECOLOR THEM. THEIR SPRITES ARE NOT IN HERE. This is a reference for all my shared characters on Scratch! This includes details on their backstory, personality, inspiration, worldbuilding, and more. V.3 is a major update based on the framework of V.2. Many things, visual and technical have been added or reworked here. Criticisms and corrections are welcome and encouraged. From May 14, 2021: Exactly one year ago, the original SCR V1 project released. It sent me down a fun but busy path of making all the characters I've wanted, the worlds I developed and everything in-between! I'm happy to not have given up on this huge endeavor. I contemplated on if I should override the original SCR V3 with this update, or just share the project separately... the choice I made here should be obvious. This update almost never released due to everything that's happened in the past month of development. It clearly hadn't been the best time for me. I actually would have finished the update regardless, but never publicly share it. Now that this is out though, I'm once again taking a huge break from the SCR project. Honestly, working on the project had been limiting in that this was the only thing I could focus on. Burning out won't work well for something like this, so I'll step away from this for a while until I get some fresh new ideas again. I had other big updates planned, but it would only trap me within that work limit. It's why every update following this one will be much smaller and release at random. If you're interested, then keep your eyes open for them! But yeah, this is the anniversary update. Guess this means I can finally work on some other big things! Well, maybe not right now. I do need to take time for myself and focus on my personal life. I hope you all enjoy the update!
