Dawnbreak’s citizens: Every Infected character --- POV: Seaspray Time: Soon after Hallownest fell It was dawn. For the first time in countless ages, the true sun was rising. He was sick of seeing the Radiance’s fluff and feathers flash over the kingdoms, unintentionally acting as one of the few remaining sources of light. He was done with wasting his magic on lanterns that flickered out every few hours despite how much effort he put into keeping them burning. He dropped from the ceiling and rolled to a standing position, putting on his boots and stepping out of his quarters. Surprisingly, nobody else on the massive ship was awake yet. It was quite peaceful. Seaspray sighed and clambered up to the crow’s nest, gazing out over the ocean and humming a shanty to himself. He had missed this peacefulness. The previous day, he and his crew had gotten into yet another battle and rescued an odd little group of creatures, who willingly came to his ship, trusting that nobody would harm them. This wasn’t very uncommon, but a captain, a warrior, and a couple of unidentifiable bugs wasn’t what he’d thought that ship’s hostages would be. /Odd little critters they are...
