Instructions

Now, time to discuss something I've seen a lot. TEMPLATE RECREATIONS. I know, templates may be tempting to recreate, especially panzoid 2d intros. I know, when you're out of ideas, you'll try going to panzoid 2d intros. But PLEASE DON'T. I've noticed these days, that there are many template recreations. Here are a few reasons why I absolutely hate it: 1. There is no creativity added. This is one of the reasons I stopped making panzoid-like intros with clones. 2. Most of the recreations are done in 10 minutes. Now, that was an exaggeration, but I mean that people don't put much effort into them. They honestly don't look so great, and they miss a lot of the elements of the intro they're recreating. There is literally only ONE intro - yes, ONE intro - that I've seen purely remade from a template, and that intro is @kirbyzaz's 2k intro template, which is a recreation of VipexArtz 1.2k subs intro template. He put EVERY ELEMENT that was recreateable on scratch on his intro. This is how I'd like to see intro template recreations. So, I'm not saying DON'T recreate templates, it's that recreate them with ALL THEIR ELEMENTS & QUALITY. Most of the times when I can't recreate an intro, I usually add my own twist. Now, how can we improve? First - pause at places where there is a lot of effects used. Is there particles moving? Add those. Does the text have a drop shadow? Add those. Are those tiny flashes that are only seen on the beats? Add those. Are the shutters in front of the flash or behind? Add those. Even if you can't code it as well, you at least tried harder. THESE are the kind of template recreations I want to see now. As usual, Tap/ACP out.
