This is the KRMA Loop 1 line otherwise known as the red loop. Because the city is midsize there is a demand for transit but not a large one. In 2007 an energy efficancy program started leading to the replacement of older stock on loop one to new energy efficient stock. One of the weirder changes was making train doors open when a button is pressed by a passenger to reduce the use of electricity to the door because the line does not have as many passengers for the doors to have to open at every station.
