This is a vent. In summary, it's about how you shouldn't feel pressured to 'show your pride' just because others do. If you want to just live your life like a normal person and not flaunt your differences, I see absoloutly no issue with that. I've often felt really pressured to feel 'proud' of being a lesbian, but I just can't. I don't see what there is to be 'proud' of. I just like girls. It's not like I did anything special. I've felt almost obliged to change Blue Moon's bandanna to the lesbian flag sometimes, just because that's what everyone else does. So, I think it's important to appreciate those who want to show their 'pride', but I also think it's really important to understand that some of us just want to live normal lives as normal people.
