PRESS SPACE FOR A NEW ONE (after you click) I love prairie. I live by a few prairies. I think they're really pretty. It smelled like fire as I walked by the prairie today because they burn some of them. Apparently, the burns used to happen naturally but they don't anymore. And I saw in National Geographic that they have lots of fires in California, Arizona, Utah, etc. But in my state we don't have those at all. But I think we should. They stopped burning a lot of the fields by me. I thought it was sad. But the weather was nice today so I was outside and I looked at the plants and I saw this. It's crazy, because I did exactly this for like three months straight when lockdown began about a year ago. Of course, I'd love to do that again but this year, unfortunately, I still have school so I actually have to be useful. But I think this project turned out well. I used four colors, and three different kinds of plants. Based on what I saw. So, even if this project is ugly, it's very near to me, as it is based on a part of my life that has been very important during lockdown. It's not green because it's not summer. So these are dead plants, really. * Music recommendation: Listen to your Heart by Roxette 80s music! * Interestingly, there's only one fractal here. But I love lindenmayer systems. The other two, are more simple designs but I had to pay attention to variation and to color and to layering. I don't know. I think it turned out ok. * Again I'm very happy to be learning Java. Also, Python, but I think Python is a little more easy. But learning Java has really helped me to structure my Scratch programs differently. It helps me to NOT lose my focus. Because, it's very easy to get lost in Scratch blocks.
