heyo! so i just drew an anthro halfbody of jumper, and i love it, so i decided to post it as an art process! 1. sketch - I used a canvas-textured pen to draw a rough sketch of the pose I want (this took an extremely long time and im suprised it turned out okay without a pose reference bc i suck at drawing anthro) 2. lineart - using the same canvas-textured pen to outline everything! 3. flat colors - its just colors, pretty self explanatory 4. shading - used 3 layers. first, create one layer and draw the basic cell shading. duplicate it twice. then, take one of the duplicates and move it towards the light source so it still overlaps the original layer. then, blur the layer. after that, take the original layer and blur it. this should leave you with two blurred layers and one non-blurred layer (blending mode multiply) 5. lighting - use the same technique for lighting, just move the layer away from the light source instead of towards it (blending mode add) 6. highlights - draw lighter lines on the side of the light source, blending mode is add. 7. adding a background! - i just used a reddish color, and used some lighter and darker colors to add highlights. then, i added some fancy red lighting for a finishing touch!
jumper is a wishkyu, and original (closed) species by @TTheta! their design is also by TTheta btw i used ibispaintx for the entire thing!
